Eric DiVito's followup recording 'The Second Time Around' is in the can off for pressing. Eric is planning a four date Canadian tour in late November, beginning in Montreal and ending at The Jazz Room in Waterloo. Visit ericdivito.com for dates and other info.

PJC Records is proud to announce the first label sponsored tour for Eric DiVito. In support of his release 'Breaking the Ice', Eric will be performing a run of dates in Southern Ontario. The band is rounded out with fellow NYC resident Jake Saslow on Tenor and Soprano sax, Matthew Lima on electric and upright bass and Giampaolo Sactozza on drums. Wednesday February 20th at Van Gogh's Ear in Guelph, 3030 Dundas West in Toronto on February 21st, and The Jazz Room in Waterloo on February 22nd.

Mark August 23rd on your calendar as PJC will be co-hosting a fundraiser for Jonny Chapman at the Jazz Room in Waterloo. Jon leaves for Berklee in a few weeks and could use a cushion to offset his living exspenses. A whole host of local jazz greats will be on hand to take the stage in support of the cause. Acts performing include but aren't limited to, Larry Larson, The Jason White Trio, Alex Tintinalli, Brian Voll and many more. Raffles and silent auction table should help heat things up. Come out out and help support this talented young man as he begins the next chapter in his musical career.

Congratulations to Jonny Chapman, who not only accepted a full scholarship in the fall to the Berklee School of Music in Boston, but is the first ever winner of the PJC Records Youth Jazz Spirit Award.

PJC Records is proud to announce the first label funded release by the Eric DiVito. Recorded in July of 2011, 'Breaking the Ice' is also the first studio album for Eric. This record will help establish this young artist as part of the emerging wave of new talent to hit the New York jazz scene.
